About Sonia

Fluent in French, English, and Italian, I am passionate about language teaching, professional development, and cultivating intercultural connections. Holder of the CAPES (professional proficiency teaching certification) in English, I have a solid academic background, including a DEA in Linguistics, a Master in Foreign Languages and Civilization, a Master in French as a Foreign Language, and a Certification in Business Management.

With over 10 years of experience as an English teacher in higher education and more than 15 years of experience in international business development, I have also acquired expertise in business and marketing, as well as intercultural communication. I have had the privilege of collaborating with partners in more than 30 countries, which has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of client needs and a great ability to adapt quickly to international contexts.

Additionally, I have been involved in a variety of translation projects, refining my language skills across different domains.

Do not hesitate to contact me to meet all your professional needs and objectives, whether it is homework help, translations, preparation for exams (Bachelor's degree, BTS, IUT), TOEIC exams, TOEFL, entrance exams to major schools, preparation for job interviews, writing CVs and cover letters, commercial approaches, or presentations.

About the lesson

My teaching approach adapts to your age, level, and objectives, whether you're preparing for exams, enhancing professional skills, or simply pursuing a passion for learning English. During our initial session, I'll assess your strengths and areas for improvement to create a tailored method that suits your needs. This approach may include traditional grammar explanations, methodological guidance for exam excellence, or a dynamic Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) method, emphasizing practical language skills in real-life contexts. It's all about identifying points where you can refine your language abilities.

Sonia is an absolute gem! I had tried learning French before with various apps and different teachers, but nothing clicked until I started with her. Thanks to Sonia, I've gained confidence in speaking the language. Her approach is unlike any other - she makes learning enjoyable, tailors lessons to be practical for everyday life, and truly gets to know her students. We didn't just learn; we laughed, chatted, and had fun while mastering French. Sonia's teaching style takes away the overwhelm of memorising endless vocabulary and conjugations. Learning with her felt easy and interesting. If you're looking to speak real, practical French with an extensive vocabulary and a beautiful accent, Sonia is the one you've been waiting for! I can't recommend her enough!
