About Melody

I am a native English language speaker from Northern US, and I have a native Northwestern USA accent. My background is a Master's degree in Education and Teaching English as a Second Language.

I can teach you whether you do not know the English alphabet or you need help with more advanced English.

I am a positive, fun, understanding instructor who will customize your lessons for you and your goals!

A few items I specialize in are accent reduction, writing skills (whether that be beginning writing or writing an essay), and learning to study English by yourself, so at some point, you won't need me anymore! (I am always here for you and your goals.)

My techniques work, and when I taught overseas, my students improved their speaking and writing skills quickly and had some fun too!

I love to see all my students succeed in their English language and life goals, and it's so wonderful seeing them improve, become confident, and more fluent in English.

About the lesson

The first lesson is free and to assess your level of English, and see what your goals are.

Please let me know your English language goals so we can work on them, and you can accomplish your goals in life through learning English!

I am not a grammar-based instructor. I am more communicative-based. That means we will learn and actually use English in a way that Americans speak and use the English language.

I will work on your English language fluency, rather than only memorizing grammar points.

I am an understanding, fun, and positive teacher who wants to help you work on your English language goals.

I am available PST (Seattle, WA, USA time) on Tuesday through Saturday. I am available 6:00 am to 12:00 noon PST (Seattle time). Contact me for a time that is convenient for you on these days.
