Hello! I can help you to feel confident when using English at work: in meetings, at conferences and on the phone. Using bespoke lessons we can focus on the skills that you need to improve.

Stephen has been instrumental in raising my level of English. He has done that not only through traditional teaching methods but also through his ability to adapt to each student's style of learning and understanding, which was the quality I sought in a teacher. He is able to identify the subtle reasons why I make specific mistakes in my pronunciation, grammar and writing, helping me to correct them and further my understanding of English language and culture. Through him I understood my style of learning, therefore making my learning easier and faster. I am so happy and proud to be complimented today for the way I speak and express myself in English, and that is mostly thanks to Stephen. Dory

I have known Stephen for 10 years and we met through our shared interest in rock climbing. Although I no longer pursue this we have remained close friends and see each other regularly.

I have spent a number of years working as a tutor training barristers and solicitors and it is clear to me that Stephen would be an excellent teacher. He is extremely personable, conscientious, patient and knowledgeable. I can only imagine that a lesson with him would be a highly rewarding experience.

Over the years we have engaged in many activities and discussed a huge range of topics: we have climbed, walked and talked, swum in rivers, sailed and I have watched him perform in bands at venues in London. I have been aware of his activities in training to be a teacher of English to foreign students and delivering online and face to face lessons. I have always been impressed by his passion and commitment to providing the best possible learning experience for his students.

Stephen is a top person, inside and out. I did my teacher training with Stephen. Not only did we strike up a friendship, we also shared countless ideas while we were training to become teachers. He’s full of engaging ideas and is genuinely interested in you as a person. He’s also incredibly supportive and will help you in any way possible. You will have a fantastic learning experience if you pick Stephen as a tutor because of this!
