About Julie
I have been teaching for 5 years now. I started by helping pupils with their homework, after which I specialized in teaching English to high school students. I have since mainly been focused on helping university students to write essays and prepare for oral presentations, both in French and English, but I also occasionally provide more general language courses.

I graduated from the with a Master's degree in Modern Languages, with as main languages English and Greek, and a specialization in second language acquisition. The way I teach is makes sure that my students use all of their senses to learn languages. This is basically means that within a lesson they have to speak, read, write, complete exercises, listen to audios, watch videos, etc.. I can both help with homework or preparing for tests, as well as teach a language in the long term. For me, the only condition for learning a foreign language is for the student to be motivated and to be ready to actively engage in the process. The goal really is for students to gradually become independent, and not for these courses to drag along.
