About Ruth
I graduated with First-Class Honours from Mount Saint Vincent University in 2016 with a Bachelor's of Education Degree.
I am an elementary school teacher, currently working for the Halifax School Board. I have been teaching for the last 6 years in China, Annapolis Valley, Calgary, and Halifax.
I have taught students from the ages of 5-18 and love the moments when I get to spend some one on one time with students. This is the reason that I am so interested in tutoring, I would love to be able to spend one on one time with students to truly help them, get to know them, and encourage their growth.

I find that manipulatives and games make language learning more fun and the content is more easily retained through play.
