Hello, my name is Dionne. Teaching is not just my job--it's my passion! When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading, writing, cooking, sewing, watching movies and listening to music. I talk about many of my hobbies in the classroom to make class more fun and relaxing but also conduct a more structured and specific-driven classroom if needed.

I have been teaching English for many years and enjoy it thoroughly. It inspires me to see my students learn. My teaching style is Student-focused using psychological reasoning to assess and collect information to help tailor the perfect individualized lesson plan just for you.
I believe, when learning, it is important to treat each student as an individual. One style of learning may not work for all students; by using the student-focused strategy and psychological devised lesson plan, I am able to build rapport and bond with my students. I hope to see you in my classroom!
I have several years of experience teaching ESL students and hold a TEFL certificate. In the classroom students openly express themselves and build confidence through meaningful interactions such as role-playing, asking questions, resolving problems and speaking openly. Please note, you can laugh as much as you want to!
