ACADEMIC BACKGROUND Bachelor's Degree: Portuguese and English Language and Literature - UFRJ (Started in 2022 - Not completed) Short Course: Spanish - Center for Foreign Languages (2021 - 2023)

About the lesson

I am a graduating student in Portuguese and English Language and Literature at UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro) and have been studying for 4 years. I work as a teaching assistant at the university, offering Portuguese classes for foreigners. In addition, I have a degree in Spanish from the Language Center of the São Gonçalo City Hall. I have a true passion for language learning and want to use my linguistic skills to work and help those in need. I am a native Portuguese speaker and have experience teaching English. I really enjoy working with children and have had the opportunity to work at Colégio PH, which provided me with important experiences in the school environment and in the children's learning process. In my classes, I usually start by explaining my teaching method and then we discuss the topic. After that, I propose traditional and dynamic activities so that the student can put the day's content into practice. The goal is to ensure that learning is happening in a light, clear, and effective way. If you want to improve your English or Portuguese, just contact me. We can achieve your goals together! In English- I'm a Portuguese–English language teaching undergraduate student at UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro), where I've been studying for the past four years. I also work as a teaching assistant at the university, giving Portuguese classes to foreign students. In addition, I hold a Spanish certificate from the São Gonçalo City Language Center. I'm passionate about learning languages and want to use my skills to work and help those who need it. I'm a native Portuguese speaker with experience teaching English. I really enjoy working with children and have had the opportunity to teach at Colégio PH, where I gained valuable experience in school settings and in the learning process of younger students. In my classes, I like to start by explaining my teaching method. Then, we discuss the topic covered and move on to traditional and interactive exercises so the student can apply the content right away. The goal is to ensure learning is happening in a light, clear, and effective way. If you need to improve your English or Portuguese, feel free to reach out — let's work together to reach your goals!
