About Sumati

Dear Students,

I'm your Indian classical music teacher. Despite being visually impaired, music has been my guiding light. It's transformed my life, and I want to share its beauty and power with you. Through music, I've learned that limitations can be turned into strengths. I'm here to help you discover the depth of Indian classical music and how it can change your perspective too.
Let's explore this incredible journey together, unlocking melodies and understanding life in a new way. I can't wait to start this musical adventure with you.

About the lesson

My teaching approach to classical music is about sharing its beauty and depth in a simple way. I blend traditional methods with modern techniques to match each student's style.
A usual class starts with the goals and an introduction to the topic using relatable examples. I always welcome questions and end by summarizing the main points.
What sets me apart is my emphasis on nurturing a love for the art form . I encourage students to explore beyond the basics.
These classes are open to anyone interested, from beginners to enthusiasts. I adapt to the learners, aiming to ignite a lasting passion for classical music and help them thrive.
