About TYLER
"Hi, I’m Tyler! I’ve been teaching piano for 2 years and have a background in daycare, which has given me a deep understanding of how young children learn and stay engaged. My goal is to make every lesson something your child looks forward to—I believe music is most rewarding when it’s fun! I am exceptionally patient and love tailoring my curriculum to whatever your child is excited about, whether that's learning a favorite Disney song or creating their own musical stories. For me, the best part of teaching is celebrating those 'lightbulb moments' and watching my students hit exciting new milestones."

"For my 5-to-10-year-olds, I use a variety of games, rhythm activities, and creative storytelling to make complex musical concepts easy to understand . We focus on keyboard geography, finger numbers, and pattern recognition through tactile games and short, high-energy activities. For my 8-to-10-year-olds, I help students take ownership of their learning by selecting repertoire they enjoy, while building solid note-reading and sight-reading habits"
