About Haoyan

I hold a Master of Piano Performance and Bachelor of Music Education. Now I am a Music Education PhD Candidate at Victoria University of Wellington. I love guiding children for graded piano exams and helping adult learners quickly play beloved pieces with practical, personalized teaching strategies.

About the lesson

I provide tailored piano lessons catering to two groups of learners. For children, I offer systematic training for graded music exams, focusing on technique, sight-reading and comprehensive musicianship to lay steady musical foundations. For adult learners, I adopt efficient learning approaches to help you quickly master your favourite pieces, with no compulsory exam requirements.

Supported by my academic background in music education, I flexibly adjust teaching methods to suit every student’s learning pace and personal goals. Lessons cover classical works as well as popular piano repertoire.
