About Sebastian

I've been playing piano for more than 20 years now. I studied my undergraduate and master's in Colombia, focusing on classical piano and composition. Now, I'm currently studying my Ph.D. in composition at The University of Auckland. Still, piano keeps being an important part of my life, and I keep practicing. I've been teaching piano lessons since 2015 in a variety of contexts, and I love teaching piano as much as I love playing it.

About the lesson

I focus on the musical styles that the student wants to play, but always focusing on good technique and music sheet reading. Having a good skill in those last two things makes a student advance a lot faster than others.
