About Rachel
Hello! My name is Rachel and I am a full-time PhD student and part-time English tutor. I have been tutoring English learners for three years and I have gained a Level 5-accredited TEFL certificate from The TEFL Academy. I am available to offer one-on-one lessons to individuals of all ages (including children) from beginner to advanced.

I offer lessons to individuals via Skype, Zoom or Microsoft Teams. My lessons are between 45-60 minutes (30 minutes for children under the age of 10). Prior to tutoring with me, I will provide you with a questionnaire which you must complete and return by email. This questionnaire is designed to assess the level you will be placed at prior to tutoring (beginner, intermediate or advanced) and will help me to gauge what you hope to achieve from lessons, so that they can be tailored to suit your needs. I like to make classes as fun as possible and use a variety of activities to improve listening, reading and writing skills.
