About Sae

Hi! I'm Sae, a friendly and approachable native Japanese speaker from Japan. I have been living in Ireland for two years and recently completed my MA in International Relations at University College Dublin (UCD).

I love meeting people from different backgrounds, learning about different cultures, and sharing my own culture with others. Living and studying in an international environment has given me the opportunity to connect with people from all over the world, and I really enjoy helping others learn about Japan and the Japanese language.

I'm a very friendly, patient, and easy-going person, so don't worry about making mistakes! I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, practising your Japanese, and learning at your own pace. Since I can communicate in English, I can also explain Japanese grammar and expressions clearly in English whenever needed.

I'd love to help you enjoy the learning process. I look forward to meeting you!

About the lesson

Why learn with me?

Clear explanations in English: Having completed my postgraduate studies in Ireland, I am comfortable communicating in English. I can explain Japanese grammar, vocabulary, sentence structures, and expressions in English to help you understand not just what to say, but why it is said that way.

Lessons tailored to your goals: Whether you want to learn Japanese for travel, everyday conversations, work, or personal interest, I will adapt our lessons to your needs and pace.

Practical and enjoyable learning: We can practise useful phrases, everyday conversations, pronunciation, reading, and writing, depending on what you want to focus on.

A supportive learning environment: Making mistakes is a natural part of learning a language! I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere where you can practise Japanese with confidence.
