I base my classes on the needs of the individual student. Then I try to use the interests of the individual student as much as possible. I think all the four language skills are important - reading, writing, speaking and listening. But when possible I emphasize the oral skills of speaking and listening. When studying Japanese language it is also necessary to learn more about the culture and the people of Japan.
I am a university graduate with two Bachelors degrees. One degree is in Japanese, the other is in music. I worked as an assistant English teacher in Japanese primary and junior high schools for 12 years, so I have quite a lot of knowledge and practical experience in learning and teaching a foreign language.
