About Chelsea

I am an advanced native English speaker with a certified TEFL and TESOL certificate. I have 2 years teaching experience, one in which I taught English online and the other where I taught up to 3 children at a time in a classroom. I graduated High school with honors and am beginning my 4 year journey on attaining my BA to become a qualified High school teacher. I maintained an above average for English all throughout my High School career and am following my dream of becoming an over and above qualified English Teacher. I have taught students of all ages and have worked closely with students from the ages of 4 to 18. I have gained invaluable experience giving horse riding lessons to young children and have taken great care and pride in ensuring they perform to the best of their ability as well as reminding them to have fun and remain positive and outgoing every day. I have volunteered at a rehabilitation center where I worked closely with children and had to take their special needs into consideration at all times. I am enthusiastic in helping my students learn and love the English language. I have gained great experience in adapting my lessons in accordance to my students age, interests and needs. I use a range of different techniques to keep my lessons interactive and engaging. I am committed to my company and all of my students. Online teaching is my passion which I wish to continue doing everyday.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is based off patience and understanding. I follow a simple six step lesson structure. As a teacher I feel it is important to always make your students feel at ease and eager to learn. I have found the old method of writing on a white board and asking your students to copy has become archaic. I take pride in making my lessons as fun and interesting as possible but still with the objective that the students retain knowledge.
