About Florence
Je m’appelle Florence et je suis actuellement étudiante au cégep André-Grasset en Sciences, lettres et arts. La musique occupe une grande place dans ma vie : je pratique le piano depuis plus de 12 ans, mais je m’intéresse aussi au saxophone et au chant, qui nourrissent ma créativité et mon expression personnelle. En parallèle, j’ai travaillé plusieurs étés comme animatrice, ce qui m’a permis de développer mon sens de l’écoute, ma patience et ma capacité à guider et motiver les autres, en particulier les enfants. Curieuse et passionnée, j’aime apprendre, relever des défis et partager ce que j’ai acquis au fil de mes expériences. Pour moi, enseigner ou accompagner quelqu’un, c’est avant tout créer un lien de confiance et offrir un environnement chaleureux et stimulant. My name is Florence, and I am currently studying Sciences, Letters and Arts at Cégep André-Grasset. Music has always played a central role in my life: I have been playing piano for over 12 years, but I also explore saxophone and singing, which fuel my creativity and self-expression. Alongside my musical path, I have worked several summers as an activity leader, where I developed strong listening skills, patience, and the ability to guide and motivate others—especially children. Curious and passionate, I love learning, taking on new challenges, and sharing what I have gained through my experiences. For me, teaching or mentoring is above all about building trust and creating a warm, inspiring environment.

Bonjour! Je m’appelle Florence et je joue du piano depuis 12 ans; j’ai complété le niveau Lauréat 1 à l’École préparatoire de musique de l’UQAM. Avec mon expérience en enseignement du piano, en animation et ma grande aisance avec les enfants, j’offre des cours adaptés aux débutants comme à ceux qui souhaitent perfectionner leur technique. Je peux également enseigner la théorie musicale pour renforcer la compréhension et la progression des élèves. Mon objectif est de rendre l’apprentissage du piano agréable, motivant et accessible à tous, que ce soit en ligne ou en présentiel. Hi! My name is Florence and I’ve been playing piano for 12 years; I’ve completed the Lauréat 1 level at the UQAM Preparatory School of Music. With my experience in piano teaching, activity leading, and my natural ease with children, I offer lessons tailored both for beginners and for students looking to refine their technique. I can also teach music theory to strengthen students’ understanding and progress. My goal is to make piano learning enjoyable, motivating, and accessible to everyone, whether online or in person.
