About Jennifer

Have you always wanted to play piano — or would you love to come back to it after years away?

My online lessons are designed to help you build strong foundations while working with music you genuinely enjoy.

Depending on your goals, we can explore:
- your favorite pieces — classical, pop, film music, contemporary music and more;
- piano technique and coordination;
- chords and accompaniment;
- reading music and theory when it is useful to you;
- ear training and understanding how music works;
- improvisation;
- creating your own melodies and pieces.

You don’t need to know how to read music before you start.

Rather than treating theory as a separate subject, I introduce it gradually so that it helps you understand what you’re playing and gives you more freedom at the piano.

My aim isn’t simply to teach you a collection of pieces. I want to help you become more independent as a musician — able to understand music, know what to practice, explore new pieces and gradually develop your own way of playing.

At the end of each lesson, you’ll leave with clear and realistic practice goals, so you know exactly what to work on before our next session.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, an adult returning to piano, or already play and would like to explore chords, improvisation and creativity, we’ll build a learning path around what motivates you.

Online lessons from anywhere in Australia – in English or French.

Ready to start playing more freely? Send me a message and tell me a little about your experience and the kind of music you’d love to play.

About the lesson

I’m a qualified piano teacher with over 7 years of teaching experience, working with students from complete beginners to more experienced players.

My approach is built around a simple idea: learning piano should give you solid skills while keeping the enjoyment, curiosity and creativity that make you want to play.

Every student is different, so I tailor lessons to your level, musical tastes and goals. You may want to start from scratch, return to piano after several years, improve your technique, understand chords, develop your ear, improvise, or simply feel more confident and independent at the keyboard.

My teaching is supportive but structured: you learn at your own pace, while always knowing what you’re working towards and how to progress.

I’ve already taught more than 50 students through Superprof, and my teaching is particularly valued for its patience, adaptability and personalized approach.
Lessons available in English or French.

Jennifer is an exceptional piano teacher. She is always kind and attentive, creating a space where I feel free to express myself without fear of judgment. I especially love her approach, which focuses on the feelings and sensations that arise when playing chords. This really resonates with me, as my emotional side is more developed than my logical side, and her teaching style suits me far better than that of any other teacher I’ve had.

Thanks to her, I even found the courage to write a short piece of music, and I have never felt so proud of myself. Her teaching style is gentle, and piano lessons with Jennifer are always a truly enjoyable and confidence-building experience.
