About Saudia

I am a tutor and a previous teacher with over 14 years of teaching experience with students from K-12 grade levels. I teach all general subject areas and I specialize in teaching English as a second language. I earned a Master's Degree as a Curriculum Instructor with a minor in English as a second Language.

About the lesson

I am a teacher and I have over 14 years of experience teaching instruction in a classroom setting with two of those years in an online classroom setting. I also have three years of homeschooling experience. I have homeschooled 2 of my sons during their elementary school years. I have worked with students in a large class setting as well as a small group setting and individually. I also have experience working with students with learning disabilities who need modifications to their lessons.
I am very familiar with the Common Core curriculum in which I have taught all general subjects from Kindergarten through the 8th grade level. Also, I teach at the High School level for the following three subject areas: 1. English as a Second Language 2. English Language Arts and 3. Spanish as a Second Language.
I help students who have a physical disability by teaching slow movement or stretch yoga that can help many people to get them started for the day with their agility. I usually do this either very early in the morning or at night to help with winding down for the day.
If you have a special request please contact me and ask, I may be able to accomodate a special routine that you may need for yourself or for your child.
I am available to work during the day as I also am available for homeschooling help.

Details

I offer 45 minute session per subject for establishing adequate amount of time with each student without the overwhelming amount of instruction since all of my sessions take place online only. This allows for building a good routine and progressive work and getting good results.
