About Quinn

I am a piano instructor with 9 years of teaching experience and an Advanced Diploma in Piano Performance. My teaching style is active, expressive, and comprehensive, designed to engage students while building strong technical and musical foundations. I specialise in tailoring lessons to each student’s needs, goals, and learning pace. Lessons combine music history, theory, technique, and creative exploration, giving students a well-rounded understanding of the instrument. I work with students at all levels, from beginners just starting out to professionals refining their artistry. My approach emphasises both skill development and musical expression, helping students find their own voice on the piano. I incorporate diverse styles, encouraging versatility and adaptability in performance. Improvisation, composition, and interpretation are integrated into lessons to foster creativity and confidence. I create a supportive and motivating environment where questions are welcomed and progress is celebrated. Students learn not only to play but to appreciate and connect deeply with music. My sessions are interactive, structured, and designed to inspire a lifelong love for the piano. I take pride in helping students achieve milestones, whether for exams, performances, or personal growth. Join me to explore the piano with passion, curiosity, and joy.

About the lesson

I am a piano instructor with a passion for helping students of all levels grow in their musical journey. My approach blends classical, pop, jazz, and contemporary styles to create a rich and engaging learning experience. Lessons are personalised to match each student’s goals, strengths, and interests. I integrate technology like ear training apps, metronomes, and DAWs to enhance timing, pitch, and creativity. Students learn not only technique but also how to express themselves musically and develop their own style. I provide guidance for performing in different settings, from church services to digital productions, helping students refine their skills with confidence. Improvisation, composition, and arrangement are key parts of my sessions, fostering both creativity and musical understanding. I encourage a supportive and interactive environment where questions are welcomed and ideas can flourish. Each lesson is structured yet flexible, ensuring steady progress and enjoyment. My goal is to nurture a love for music while building technical proficiency. Whether preparing for performances, recording projects, or personal growth, I help students excel. Join me to explore the piano in a way that’s fun, inspiring, and tailored just for you.
