About Danica

With a background in counseling, education, and consulting, during the last 3 years, I’ve supported over 50 students in reaching their Japanese learning goals, ranging from JLPT preparation to job interviews and university applications in Japan. My students include college learners, working professionals, and heritage speakers, and I tailor each lesson to fit your needs and pace. My sessions combine structured grammar and vocabulary practice with engaging, real-world applications, such as conversations, short readings, and guided writing. I love using memory-friendly tips to help you remember what you learn. 2. What a Typical Lesson Looks Like: Each lesson starts with a quick review and warm-up. Then, depending on your goals, we may: • Dive into a grammar topic or JLPT prep • Practice natural conversation • Break down a short article, script, or social media post • Work on speaking and listening with pronunciation tips I also provide optional review homework and personalized notes after each class. 3.
