About Robert
I am a full time musician who has over 12 years of performing live, playing a large variety of styles. I have experience in teaching both adults and children both contemporary and classical styles. Particularly, those who wish to develop their improvisational skills which are used in Blues, Jazz and other contemporary styles.
I have played in a variety of bands and also performed solo over the last 12 years. I also have lots of experience in recording and aspects of music production/ sound design. I can also teach techniques associated with synthesizers, organs & clavs.
Together we will develop your understanding and application through discussion, exercises both practical and theoretical (if appropriate) and in a musical setting. My approach is that the learning process should always try to be enjoyable and so we will aim to play songs/ in styles that you wish to learn.
Whatever your musical goal is we will work to achieve it and have fun in the process!

Details
I offer our first session together free of charge. This is to discuss your goals as a student, what types of music you want to learn, see what level you are at and other important details like lesson times and frequency.
If I need to use my car or make use of a separate studio to accommodate our lessons we will need to discuss these extra costs during our first free session.
