About Vance

I currently teach music in Studio City and am available for private instruction. I have a B.A. in Classical Piano Performance and Percussion Performance and an M.A. in Jazz Studies and over 10 years of professional performance experience. I have worked with private piano students as young as 3, teenagers, college students, and adults.

About the lesson

I love to teach beginning/intermediate classical piano, theory, and jazz harmony. I like to combine musical, technical, and theoretical elements to exercises to make practicing fun while still being methodical. Depending on the students goals my lessons can target performance & auditions for universities or general musical enrichment and personal development.
