About Saki

Hello! My name is Saki!

I am a native Japanese tutor!
Our lessons are taught by two teachers — a native Japanese teacher (me!) and an American teacher.

If you prefer, you can switch to a private one-on-one lesson with me, a native Japanese speaker.

[ Why Learn Japanese with Two Teachers? ]
→ Learn Japanese faster and speak more naturally with two teachers who have completely different backgrounds!

Our biggest advantage is that you can learn from both a native Japanese teacher and an American Japanese learner at the same time.

*Saki — Native Japanese Teacher As a native Japanese speaker, I can teach you:
・Natural, real-life Japanese that Japanese people actually use
・How native Japanese speakers naturally learn and remember Japanese
・Japanese culture, manners, and social customs
・Polite Japanese and honorifics
・Practical conversation for everyday life, travel, work, and more

I also worked as a nurse in Japan 🩺, so I can help you practice medical Japanese and formal conversations.

*Justin — American Japanese Learner
Justin became fluent in Japanese through self-study, without studying abroad, and has even been mistaken for a Japanese person because of how naturally he speaks! Because he learned Japanese as an English speaker, he understands:
・What makes Japanese difficult for English speakers
・Effective ways to memorize Japanese
・How to learn Japanese faster and more efficiently
・How to make learning Japanese fun and less stressful
・How to actually use what you learn in conversation Having both perspectives means you can learn natural Japanese from a native speaker while also getting practical learning strategies from someone who has successfully learned Japanese from scratch.

A Fun & Relaxed Learning Environment Students and friends often tell us that we are friendly, cheerful, calm, and easy to talk to.

We want you to feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and speaking as much Japanese as possible. No pressure. No stress. Just fun, practical Japanese!

Let’s learn together and help you become a confident, natural Japanese speaker!
