About Junko

Hello! My name is Junko, and I'm a certified Japanese language teacher.

I have over two years of experience teaching Japanese to children, along with a background in education, childcare, and international exchange.

In Australia, I worked as an assistant in Japanese language classes at an elementary school, volunteered at a daycare, and worked as an au pair.

I also worked as a secretary at a multinational company, where I supported international staff traveling to Japan.

About the lesson

Lessons for Kids (Ages 5+)

I have over two years of experience teaching Japanese to children online, and some of my students have been learning with me for more than two years.

I use my own original slides, songs, quizzes, puppets, and fun activities to make learning Japanese enjoyable and engaging. My goal is to help children build confidence, develop their Japanese skills, and have fun while learning!

Lessons for Adults

I have completed a course in teaching Japanese to adult learners. I teach beginner to intermediate students using the GENKI textbook and my own original slides. My slides are clear, colorful, and easy for beginners to understand.

Whether you want to learn Japanese from scratch, prepare for a trip to Japan, or improve your conversation skills, I’ll tailor each lesson to your needs and goals.

What You’ll Learn

・Japanese for Beginners: Learn grammar, vocabulary, and sentence patterns step by step.

・Japanese for Travel: Practice useful expressions for restaurants, shopping, transportation, and sightseeing.

・Conversation Practice: Improve your speaking skills through relaxed, natural conversations.

・Japanese Culture and Daily Life: Explore Japanese food, traditions, and everyday life through conversation.

My Teaching Style

I tailor each lesson to your goals, interests, and level. I explain Japanese clearly and give you plenty of opportunities to speak and practice.

Don’t worry about making mistakes! Let’s learn Japanese together in a fun, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere.
I look forward to helping you on your Japanese-learning journey!
