Jazz, latin, classical and more -  Leeds Conservatoire Graduate - For beginners and advanced players

I never thought I would be able to play a wonderful song called Torridonia composed by a lovely couple I met in Scotland. But as Peter noticed my euphoria for this song, he offered to help me learn it. And about one week later, I was able to play the whole thing! (I’m not a pianist, by the way.) Peter is for sure a talented and passionate pianist and an even better teacher who makes you want to play the piano just the way he can. It was really fun not only learning how to play but also how I can vary my playing and have more fun. That also happened while he joined my playing with the flute. He can do both, be a teacher and show me how to reach my goal with professional knowledge and make the work feel like a loved hobby as it should be. I’m really looking forward to learning from him again one day! Thanks, Peter!

Peter is such an amazing and inspirational teacher.
I had the luck to be his student when he was living in London.

After a few lessons with him, my music knowledge, ear and sight reading skyrocketed.

Thanks to it today I can get better opportunities and better gigs within the music industry.

I cannot recommend him enough!

I was really lucky to connect with Peter and be able to have some starting lessons with him. His patience and personalized teaching was extremely forthcoming as a beginner, and I was even able to learn a song on our first lessons, so I extremely recommend it.

Peter is not only an incredible and versatile musician, but also has a wonderful way of communicating and making you feel at ease. He’s a very patient teacher who gives you the time to figure out what matters to you while helping you grow musically. It’s a real pleasure to know him and work with him.

Peter is a very good teacher. He taught my girlfriend and me to play a lot of songs on the piano. He’s very good at it, you can see how much he loves to play the piano when you listen to him.

Not only is Peter an incredibly talented musician, he is a patient, engaging, and personable piano teacher. In the time I have been having lessons with him both my skills on the piano and my knowledge of music have come on massively. He is well versed in a number of genres of music, and has the flexibility to cater each lesson to whatever whim I may come to him with, whether this be to learn a specific piece, develop improvisational skills, or improve my general music theory knowledge. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn piano or develop their pre-existing skills!

Peter is an excellent pianist who can play a range of styles and genres. He proved himself indispensable when I was recording some of my original compositions, when he picked up the material very quickly and played it beautifully. His depth of knowledge and experience also makes him a fantastic teacher.

Peter is the best tutor you could ever have! He is patient, friendly, having high level skills in music and he’s master of the piano. I always look forward to our next sessions and can’t wait to learn more.
Seriously… His skill is mind blowing

Peter is an exceptional and versatile pianist and all-round musician. He plays in a variety of styles and has extensive music theory knowledge. Peter is a calm and friendly person who would make a wonderful tutor to anyone looking for piano tuition!

He is very professional and treats his students well with a lot of emphaty and great care.

I found Peter's ad on a Facebook group and I always wanted to learn the piano, so I contacted him. Peter is a clear, and professional teacher who's also easily approachable. I love working with him!

Peter's passion for jazz, implied by his dedication as a musician, suggests a deep knowledge of his craft, which is a valuable trait in a trustworthy tutor. His commitment to music, especially within the complex genre of jazz, indicates a level of discipline and expertise that could benefit students. Additionally, being a performing pianist means he likely has real-world experience and practical knowledge, which can be instrumental in providing a comprehensive learning experience. If he brings the same energy and dedication to tutoring as he does to his performances, students will likely find him inspiring and reliable.

Peter is one of my best and oldes friend, we have known each other since birth. He is the most qualified jazz pianist I have known. Furthermore he graduated in music from university of Leeds. In the other hand I recommend Peter because of his personality. He is patient, considerate and very cheerful, so learning music is a pleasure with Peter!
So I wholeheartedly recommend Him to everyone who want to start learning piano.

To whomever it may concern,

I have been fortunate enough to play with Peter extensively over the last few years in jazz trios/quartets and function settings. His musical aptitude is incredible in all areas of musicianship. His attention to serving the music whilst improvising freely is incredible. He is a very versatile musician, playing pop, jazz, folk and classical music. I am sure that all of these attributes will carry across into his teachings. I would highly recommend Peter as your piano teacher and musicianship teacher. I’m sure his breadth of knowledge will be helpful to many.
