About Amanda

I am a university student studying Japanese and Interpretation/Translation. Frankly, I do not have much teaching experience other than teaching my friends. However, based on the lessons I have received thus far I know how to plan and structure lessons according to your proficiency in the language. I've helped friends understand the basics of Japanese reading and writing and under my guidance they have been able to make new Japanese friends and understand Japanese pop culture medium such as manga and anime.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching will first assess your proficiency of Japanese by getting to know you. Then we can create lessons that fit your level. In each new lesson I will present a different topic with new vocab, grammar, quizes and speaking sessions.

Amanda would be an excellent Japanese tutor. This is because she is friendly, very knowledgeable with Japanese, and she is great at helping others learn when they need it. I'd recommend Amanda to anyone because she has in the past helped with my Japanese studies, and she explains things clearly and makes it easy to understand.
