About Sofya
Hi there! I'm a logistics coordinator and marketing specialist by profession. In my free time, I love hanging out at the library, studying languages, diving into astronomy, and exploring all sorts of new subjects. I’m always on the lookout for exciting hobbies, and I enjoy writing poems too. I’m currently learning to play the guitar as my second instrument!
The reason why I want to teach people how to play the piano because I believe the world of music is truly beautiful. What's even more amazing is that you can be the one to create that beauty.
I have also been deeply interested in behavioral science, particularly how the internet and social media influence people’s attention and stress levels, no matter their age. I’m incredibly passionate about helping others, which is another reason why I teach. I truly believe that learning to play an instrument can be a powerful tool in reducing stress and anxiety.
Since I graduated, I wrote a few pieces myself, and I’d love to share them with you!

My lessons are perfect for beginners of any age who are eager to learn an instrument but aren’t sure where to start. I love beginning with the basics, getting comfortable with the instrument, and then gradually working our way up to learning music pieces. I believe it’s important to take our time, ensuring we’re fully confident with what we’ve learned before moving on to the next step.
I also love adding creativity to each lesson to keep both kids and adults motivated and excited to learn. Each lesson is 1 hour long, and I’ll give you some homework to work on for the next session. And if you ever have any questions after class, feel free to reach out—I’m more than happy to help at no extra cost.
