About Akilu

I have been a music lover since my childhood. I have private music lessons from her early childhood in different instruments and I decided to take Piano as my mainstream and improved my skills on it.
I have always enjoyed teaching in any field of expertise. So the blend of piano and teaching seemed like a perfect combo for my career. I have been in the teaching business for 4 years and have my own private studio -The Piano Studio - Google Verified Business.
I am a creative & lively person and I add that personality into my teaching. While my lessons don't seem like an "educational experience" it's actually a lot of things that my students get to learn.
I teach my students in a creative & engaging manner introducing them to different musical elements.
My vision is to make my students life-long musicians and enjoy their musical journey with her all along.

Learning Piano the Waldorf way
Music Through Hands Heart ️ Head
We all have many different learning styles like Aural, Visual, Verbal, Physical, Logical, etc. I focus on engaging you to a musical journey through all the style of learning through games, stories, worksheets & activities form the core of our contemporary Piano lessons.
I emphasise on becoming a whole musician learning music skills like accompaniment, Improvising, Melodic & Rhythmic Dictation, Composing, etc. I work on getting the fundamentals right and dig deep into the different elements of music to help my student grow as an artist.
My message to my student is "Let's do it all while having fun and building creativity!"
