About Tia

As a dedicated piano tutor with over 13 years of experience, music has been my lifelong passion. I began my journey at a young age, captivated by the enchanting melodies of classical composers like Chopin and Bach. Over the years, my love for music expanded to encompass jazz improvisation and the vibrant rhythms of pop music, enriching my repertoire and teaching style.

Beyond teaching, my hobbies intertwine seamlessly with my musical pursuits. I find immense joy in exploring different genres and techniques, continually honing my skills as both a performer and an instructor. Whether it's delving into the complexities of jazz harmony or interpreting the emotional depth of a classical sonata, each musical endeavor fuels my creativity and dedication to imparting knowledge.

My approach to teaching is deeply rooted in fostering a supportive and enriching environment for students of all ages. I believe in tailoring lessons to individual interests and learning styles, ensuring each student discovers their unique musical journey. Guiding others through the transformative power of music is not just my profession but also my heartfelt commitment, aimed at nurturing a lifelong love and appreciation for piano and its boundless possibilities.

My piano lessons are crafted from over 13 years of dedicated teaching experience, designed to inspire and empower students at every stage of their musical development. I believe in a holistic approach to learning, combining technical proficiency with artistic expression. Through a structured curriculum that encompasses classical masterpieces, jazz improvisation techniques, and contemporary pop arrangements, I aim to cultivate a well-rounded musical education. Each session is an opportunity for growth, where students not only refine their skills but also deepen their understanding and appreciation of music.

Central to my teaching philosophy is fostering a supportive and encouraging environment where creativity thrives. I emphasize patience, persistence, and passion, guiding students to discover their musical voice and develop a lifelong love for playing the piano. Whether you dream of performing on stage or simply wish to play for personal enjoyment, I am committed to helping you embark on and enrich your musical journey.
