About David

One on one private tutoring for people desiring to learn English as a Second Language. I offer help with homework, TOEFL/IELTS test prep, basic, intermediate, and advanced English conversation skills. I especially enjoy working with people to improve their Business English skills.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge with people. I want to empower people to reach their goals. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about their cultures and I also have the joy of learning something from them.

I recently started ESL Tutoring through an online platform.

I am TESOL certified. I also have certifications in TOEFL/ IELTS test prep, Business English, Teaching Online, Teaching Young Learners, and Supporting ESL Learners. I also have volunteered to conduct Bible studies one on one for the past 15 years.

About the lesson

I first like to get to know the student and what his/her goals are. Next step is to ascertain the learners language competency level. Then we can decide on a curriculum and methodology.

I have worked with teenage learners on up to older adults. I have tutored learners from South Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia,Turkey, and Brazil. I have worked with Beginners to Advanced learners.

Look for someone is warm,friendly,and really wants to see you succeed. Hire someone who is patient, kind, and who speaks slowly and clearly.

After tutoring an ESL learner from Turkey, he sent me a warm thank you message. It was 2:00 A.M. his time!
