I have over 5 years of experience working with elementary-aged students in a variety of educational settings, including classroom teaching, one-on-one instruction, small-group intervention, and individualized support.

Experience, Education, and Training

I am a elementary educator who has taught 4th and 5th grade in Virginia. I hold a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Special Education and am currently completing my second Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology at New York University. My background has provided me with extensive training in literacy, reading comprehension, writing, math, differentiated instruction, language development, and supporting students with diverse learning needs.

As a bilingual educator fluent in English and Spanish, I also specialize in English as a Second Language instruction. I understand the challenges multilingual learners face and create lessons that build both language confidence and academic success.

What I Love About My Work

I love helping students discover that they are capable of achieving more than they think. Watching a child gain confidence, master a challenging concept, or begin to enjoy learning is the most rewarding part of my work. I strive to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as they learn.
