About Shanuka

I began my guitar journey at the age of 20, teaching myself purely out of passion and love for music. What started as a personal pursuit soon became something I enjoyed sharing with others – especially children. Back in my home country, I taught guitar to kids as a hobby alongside running my own business as an entrepreneur. Now, settled in this beautiful country with my family, I continue to share the joy of music by teaching my own children ages 7 and 3.5 (which is quite the challenge, but incredibly rewarding!). My goal is to now extend this passion further and help more children discover the fun and confidence that comes from learning guitar. I believe in a patient, encouraging, and child-friendly approach – where learning is as enjoyable as it is educational.

About the lesson

Looking for a fun, engaging, and screen-free activity for your child? These in-person beginner acoustic guitar lessons are perfect for kids aged 6 and up! Designed specifically for young learners, each session introduces your child to the joy of music in a hands-on, encouraging environment.

Your child will learn:
Essential chords – the foundation of many popular songs
Simple strumming patterns to build rhythm and coordination
Real songs they can play and sing along to
Proper technique to set them up for confident, lifelong playing

These one-on-one classes help kids develop focus, discipline, and self-confidence – all while having fun and expressing creativity. With a patient, friendly approach and no prior experience needed, your child will feel supported every step of the way.

Give your child the gift of music – the perfect way to grow their skills while creating joyful memories!
