my teaching style is the traditional method used in spain . this is based upon the ability of the student to absorb the rythms in thier own way there being many ways these can be imparted .
the techniques peculiar to traditional playing are very important in this art form and I spend ample time on this plus give take home exersises. i teach all of the palos[ forms] and also guide the player in flamenco dance accompaniment.. my qualifications are firstly, over 40 years experience playing in flamenco troups in australia and spain.teacher at flamenco pena spanish club sydney.accompanying master dance classes in madrid.5yrs full time accompanist at sydneys premienr flamenco studio. played sydney festival opera house multicultural festival and toured funded by aust. arts council.
