About Michael
I have been giving lessons to students for the past nine years. Over this time I have helped dozens of students reach their goals in 11+, 13+ entrance examinations as well as GCSEs. I have also helped foreign learners improve their conversational English as well as pass exams such as IELTS, FCE, CAE, TOEFL and more. My students have succeeded in all these exams including entrance to some of the country's most prestigious schools in Haberdashers'. Haileybury, Highgate, City of London and more.

My teaching method is to find a link between what the student enjoys and what they need to learn. I believe that anybody can pass the tests put before them in English. There are methods, tips and tricks to help us on our way. However, I also want the student to enjoy the lesson and hopefully to enjoy the subject. It is far easier to do well in something when you are motivated.

Michael is an excellent teacher who is prepares his lessons thoroughly and builds a great rapport with his students. He is very knowledgeable in the subject and is responsive to student needs. Michael is also very friendly and is sympathetic to the challenges facing language learners.
I've been studying English with him for more than 2 years. He always tries to be his best. He doesn't hesitate to help me if it's for improving my English ability. Lessons with him are more than just learning expressions and memorizing vocabularies. Even though I normally speak English once a week, when I have lessons with him, I feel natural when I speak English. I've got not to get confused with situations like I should have a conversation in English. I'm so glad to get his lessons and I hope lots of people get to know him.
