About Mimori

Hi, my name is Mimori. I’m originally from Japan. I moved here in Melb from Malaysia (I studied Environmental Science at uni in Malaysia). Learning new languages is challenging but exciting as well. I am very motivated and excited to help you learn Japanese. Also, I can teach you English (English-Japanese bilingual lesson is available) if you are interested.

About the lesson

I will prepare personalized lessons to meet your individual needs. Each lesson will be 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours depending on your schedule and needs (I teach conversational Japanese for all levels. I recommend 30-minute or 1-hour lessons for children). I have experience in teaching English to elementary and middle school students in Japan and teaching Japanese to college students in Malaysia.

We did self-introduction practice today. They were very enthusiastic and did very well! We will keep focusing on speaking and listening in lessons. Conversation practice with some useful phrases. I am so excited to do a lesson with them again! :)

Mimori is an excellent teacher. She makes her classes conversational and fun. She is patient and caring as she takes a lot of ownership in a child’s learning, and this comes through in her voice which puts the students at ease. I would highly recommend Mimori for anyone who is wanting to learn Japanese!
