About Avelyn
I have had the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall three times, gone on two international piano tours, and have received many national and international awards throughout my career. This has helped me build a strong foundation upon which I can teach elements such as sight reading, theory, performance, ear training, history etc. to help students understand and appreciate classical music from multiple perspectives.

I have been tutoring piano for 5 years for children ranging from 8-17 years old. For performance, I typically help student improve by having them practice their piece line by line and with separate hands. I have been trained in musical theory and ear training for 8 years, so I will typically have students prompt my lessons in the technical aspect of music.
