About Katherine

I am a composer, pianist, vocalist and play guitar also. I have over 20 years experience teaching. I have a private studio/academy where we will hold lessons. If you are not in the Colorado Springs Area we do offer lessons on Skype.

About the lesson

I tailor the lessons to each student. My main goal is to share my love of music with your or your children. I just don't teach my students how to play the piano, but musicianship. I use a combination of Suzuki, Bela Bartok’s Mikrocosmos, and Faber’s Adventures in piano. I work with many ADHD kids and kids on the spectrum. We accept students from 5-105! It's never too late to learn!

I also have a YouTube channel where I teach very basic theory for those who don't have any prior musical experience. You Tube link to the first video is below.
