About Xu
Hello! My name is Xu Zheng, and I’m a recent composition graduate from UMKC, with piano as my major instrument. As a teacher, I strive to create a supportive and inspiring environment where students feel comfortable exploring music at their own pace. I bring a structured yet flexible approach to lessons, allowing students to build strong technical skills while encouraging their individual creativity.
With my background in composition and piano performance, I can help students not only learn to play but also understand the music they’re working on. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to deepen your skills, I’m here to support you every step of the way!
