About Rebecca

I never initially envisioned myself in a classroom, yet helping others unlock their creativity is what I do best. Teaching happened naturally because this specific type of one-to-one work matches my personal style perfectly. I hold a BM Music Production degree from Berklee College of Music and apply that technical foundation to every session.

I support students who learn fast alongside those who prefer the scenic route. My approach keeps the administrative side light so the full hour stays focused on actual creative growth. I prefer that a student understands 1 core idea properly instead of skimming through 5 different topics. My background spans a decade of helping people write, record, and finish their songs.

About the lesson

Staring at a blank screen while the cursor blinks remains the most frustrating hurdle for any home studio owner. You might hear a melody in your head, but translating that hum into a MIDI track or a chord progression feels like trying to catch smoke with your bare hands.

I fix this by focusing on melody writing and genre conventions ranging from pop to folk. My lessons center on the specific goal of helping you walk in with a rough idea and leave with a finished demo.

We tackle storytelling, title development, and song structure to ensure your narrative hits home. Whether you are a career switcher or a teen beginner, I help you manage the technical side of co-writing and collaboration.

You will find that mastering the arrangement process makes the production stage much smoother. By keeping the workflow simple, you gain the confidence to finish every song you start. You will move from a rough initial concept to a polished recording by the end of our time together.
