About Skye
Hi! I’m Skye, and I have always loved music. I’m studying towards being a music teacher because I want to share that love with other people, and because to me, the more I learned about how music works, the more I found it interesting and fulfilling. I write mostly contemporary classical music, but I’m a big enjoyer of musical theatre and prog rock as well.

I am a first time tutor, reflected in my rate. Lesson plans will be organised with the student, and will be focused on the curriculum they are studying towards. Students can expect to learn the basics of sound production (so a little bit of applied physics), sight reading and interpretation of sheet music, chord and scale identification, how to use a DAW and notation software, as well as some more advanced topics like modes, pressing scales, instrumentation and motivic development.
