About Anand
Hello, I’m Anand, a Geography and Earth Science tutor with a Master’s degree in Geology and several years of teaching experience in both online and offline learning environments.
I specialise in AQA GCSE Geography and enjoy teaching topics related to natural hazards, climate change, tectonic processes, rivers, coasts, and environmental change. My background in Earth science allows me to explain Geography using real-world examples and scientific understanding, helping students connect concepts more clearly.
My teaching style is calm, structured, and easy to follow. I focus on building strong understanding step by step and encouraging students to think logically about geographical processes and patterns.
Alongside tutoring, I also create educational Geography content designed to simplify complex topics in an engaging and accessible way.

My teaching approach is clear, structured, and focused on building strong understanding of Geography concepts step by step. I explain topics using simple language, real-world examples, diagrams, and logical explanation chains so students can understand difficult ideas more easily.
I mainly teach AQA GCSE Geography, including physical geography, natural hazards, climate change, tectonic processes, rivers, coasts, urban geography, and environmental topics. I also guide students in improving structured geographical answer-writing for 4, 6, and 9 mark questions.
A typical lesson usually lasts 60 minutes. Lessons are interactive and adapted to the student’s level and pace of learning. I focus on concept clarity, topic discussion, and structured explanation rather than memorisation alone.
I have a Master’s degree in Geology and over 8 years of teaching experience in online and offline education. My background in Earth science helps me explain Geography topics with deeper real-world understanding.
My lessons are suitable for GCSE Geography students, secondary/high school students, and learners interested in Earth science and environmental studies.
