About Durdana
I have been a Geography and History teacher for more than 30 years. Teaching has never been just a profession for me — it is a passion, a purpose, and a deep part of who I am. I want to teach because I believe every student deserves to be heard, understood, and supported. Over the years, I’ve guided hundreds of teenagers from different backgrounds, helping them build not only knowledge but confidence and curiosity about the world around them. Even now, after decades of experience, I still feel joy when a student says, ‘Oh! Now I get it!’ That moment — when a concept clicks, when their eyes light up — is what keeps me teaching. I care deeply about helping students grow in their own way, at their own pace. Whether online or in person, I use storytelling, real-life examples, and compassion to make learning personal, meaningful, and enjoyable. I teach because I truly want to make a difference — one student at a time.”
