About Anaihita
At school level, I tutored younger students in Math, running an after-school helpdesk for whoever needed to come and ask questions. I also did one-on-one tutoring with a younger student for one term, after-school once a week. Along with a classmate, I used to run lessons for primary-level international students learning English as a second language, and would come up with fun and interactive ways for them to practice their English. I've also run workshops in different schools across my home city, and taught village children in rural India about waste management and environmental conservation.

I'm a second-year student at Durham University, and most of my schooling had been in the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum; I would be most comfortable tutoring students still in school. My Year 12 & 13 subjects were English Language & Lit., Spanish, Math, Biology, Geography, and Psychology. When tutoring, I like to build upon what the student has been working on in school, often working through assigned homework. If there is a set of questions, for instance, I would first see how the student would tackle it, and then help fill in gaps by guiding the student through what's left.
