About Julie
I have been teaching Violin and Viola for over 10 years, 8 of those years in a school/tertiary environment. I have qualifications with AMEB, ABRSM and Trinity up to Advanced Diploma in Performance levels.
My students have successfully auditioned for places in University and Music Colleges, and have been extremely successful at Eisteddfods and Music Competitions.

String instruments are not easy instruments to learn. However, with a good teacher and some dedication, they can become a beautiful way to express yourself. My teaching method relies on a holistic approach to the student and encompasses theory, musicality, fun and serious pieces.

Details
I offer a sliding scale hourly rate for students who may not be able to afford the standard rate. Please contact me for more information.
All lessons (after the first free lesson) are invoiced 4 weeks in advance. Invoices must be paid in full before any lessons commence. Student cancellations up to 1 day before the lesson is scheduled to commence will be rebooked, or students can request a 50% refund. Cancellations after this will not be rebooked and no refund is available. Teacher cancellations will either be refunded in full or rebooked.
