About Kumkum

Hello, my name is Kumkum, and I'm from Jodhpur, India — a city known for its rich art and culture, which has always inspired my creativity.
I've been passionate about drawing and sketching for as long as I can remember, and over the years I've developed a strong hold on pencil sketching, shading, and portrait art. I love breaking down complex techniques into simple, easy-to-follow steps so that anyone — from complete beginners to more advanced learners — can build confidence in their art.
Beyond drawing, I'm deeply interested in Indian mythology and cultural storytelling, which often finds its way into my artwork. I'm patient, encouraging, and genuinely excited to help you discover your own creative style. Whether you want to learn the basics or refine your existing skills, I'll make sure our lessons are fun, structured, and tailored to your pace. Looking forward to creating something beautiful together!

About the lesson

My teaching approach is simple, patient, and student-focused. I start every class by understanding your current skill level and goals, then build a personalized learning path from there. We begin with foundational concepts like shapes, proportions, and shading before moving on to more detailed sketching and creative expression.
Each session is structured around hands-on practice, gentle correction, and constructive feedback, so you actually see improvement with every class rather than just watching demonstrations. I break down complex techniques into simple, easy-to-follow steps, making sure you never feel overwhelmed.
My classes are suitable for complete beginners as well as those looking to refine existing skills, including school students, college students, and adults exploring drawing as a hobby. I believe art should be relaxing and enjoyable, not stressful — so expect a warm, encouraging environment where creativity is celebrated.
