Jurie is a respected tutor in our community. He is highly recommended for his commitment and the quality of his lessons. An excellent choice to progress with confidence.
About Jurie
Music has been my passion my entire life. My aim is to convey my passion to my pupils, and my hope is that I can inspire them to have the same love and appreciation for music as I do. I have taught in community outreach programs for post-matriculants to prepare them for university, and am currently teaching high school music. As mentioned, I do not stop with theoretical music - but am a practical musician myself, and am able to teach Conducting, Voice, and Piano at any level required.

I am flexible to teach in person, or online. Tuition is offered in Afrikaans and English. My teaching philosophy is to teach using various methods until my pupil understands concepts.
I multiply what you bring to me. If my pupil is not prepared for a lesson, I cannot add much on that: 0 x 0 = 0, simply put.
People of any and all backgrounds and ages are welcome! You are never too young or too old to learn!

Jurie is extremely good at explaining in a way that everyone can understand. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to learn something that he can teach.
Jurie is a fantastic educator on every level. He is incredibly organized and diligent in every aspect of his work and always goes the extra mile in inspiring and motivating his students.
Jurie will go out of his way to help and he understands that everyone studies/learns differently. He will provide as much help and tips as he knows. I was one of his first matrics and the atmosphere changes so much in his class.
