About Kaela

A Little About Me!

Hi, I'm Kaela! I'm a passionate musician, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter who loves sharing my knowledge and helping others discover their love for music.

I've played piano since childhood and completed my RCM Level 10 piano playing exam. Over the years, I've also explored guitar, bass, drums, singing, and DJing through band performances, musical theater, and live events.

As a tutor, I want to make learning music feel exciting rather than intimidating! I understand that everyone learns differently, so I strive to be patient, encouraging, and adaptable to each student's needs. Whether you're working toward an exam or simply want to learn your favorite songs, I'll meet you where you are and help you grow at your own pace.

Outside of teaching, I write my own music and perform with my indie rock band. My own musical journey has taught me that there's so much more to music than technique alone — it's also about creativity, self-expression, and having fun!

I'm excited to help you build confidence, explore your musical interests, and discover what you're capable of. I can't wait to be part of your musical journey!

About the lesson

Learn Music Your Way with Kaetude Studios!

At Kaetude Studios, I believe music lessons should be fun, creative, and tailored to YOU! My goal is to help every student build confidence, develop their skills, and enjoy making music at their own pace.

My Teaching Approach
Everyone learns differently, so I personalize lessons around your goals, interests, and experience. Whether you prefer structured learning or a more relaxed, creative approach, we'll find what works best for you!
I combine practical exercises with songs you actually enjoy playing, making lessons both educational and fun.

What Does a Typical Lesson Look Like?
Lessons may include:
Technique & fundamentals: Build strong foundations in a way that feels approachable.
Songs you love: Learn your favorite music while developing new skills.
Music theory & ear training: Understand how music works and learn to recognize sounds.
- Creativity & songwriting: Explore improvisation, write your own music, and develop your unique style.
- Personalized goals: Track your progress and find new ways to challenge yourself!

However, every lesson is adapted to your goals and needs, so we can focus on what matters most to you.

What Makes My Lessons Different?
I'm a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and musician with Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) piano training and experience performing in bands and at live events.
I teach piano, guitar, bass, beginner drums, beginner DJing, and songwriting. Because I play multiple instruments, I can help students explore how different musical skills connect.

I also understand that traditional lessons aren't for everyone! Alongside structured learning and RCM exam preparation, I'm happy to help you learn by ear, play your favorite songs, experiment with different genres, or create your own music.

Who Are My Lessons For?
I welcome children, teens, and adults, from complete beginners to developing musicians looking to improve their skills.

Whether you're preparing for piano exams, picking up an instrument for the first time, returning to music after a break, or simply learning for fun, lessons will be adapted to your experience and goals.

At Kaetude Studios, music is about more than playing the right notes. It's about building confidence, expressing yourself, and discovering what you can do. Let's make music something you look forward to!
