About Ryan
I have a BFA in Literature and an MFA from USC School of Cinematic Arts. I've been gainfully employed as a professional writer and business expert for over 15 years. I currently run my own company which produces online writing content to an audience of over 500,000 visitors per month. I've written and published multiple books, including both novels and non-fiction essays on topics ranging from philosophy to business.

My goal is to help grade school through college level students with writing assignments. I am also available to help English learners/ESL students, including adults. I can assist with essays, creative writing projects, professional emails and more.
I prefer to engage with students via projects-based learning. I think the best way to approach sessions is to come with a piece of writing, whether it's a creative project, a journal about your week or an essay about a particular topic and we can go over how it can be improved, as well as have a discussion about the work.
We will address grammar issues as they come up and I can create vocabulary that is relevant to what you're trying to accomplish. I may also suggest books, films or other material that might expand the student's perspective and critical thinking ability.
