About Ayush
I am a dedicated mathematics tutor with a strong academic background. My goal is to not only help you succeed in your studies, but also to give you academic advice that will aid your problem-solving and critical thinking skills. I encourage a deep understanding of the topics at hand. My lessons are carefully planned and tailored to each of my client's goals and learning styles. I aim to break down more complex topics into smaller subtopics. I encourage my clients to fully understand the fundamentals before progressing to the more advanced topics. My sessions are interactive, and I encourage my clients to ask questions where possible.

Teaching techniques and methodology: I encourage building a strong understanding of the content at hand, rather than purely memorization-based techniques. I identify my client's current levels, strengths, gaps in learning, and then proceed to explain the concepts step by step with clear examples and explanations. I also aim to give my own set of problems (including solutions) for my client to work on. I encourage my clients to ask questions where possible, explain their thinking, and practice the problems that I give. I gradually adjust the difficulty of the problems in order to maximize cognitivity, and encourage critical thinking, a skill very important for any problem at hand. Typical Length of a Lesson: 45 minutes, more or less. I am able to adjust my time according to my client's needs, age, and concentration level. Qualifications / Experience: I have done prior tutoring for Tauranga Boys' College, as well as tutoring for a teacher's son as well. I've had plenty of experience helping others out with their academics. I am able to provide my clients with resources which will significantly aid with their learning. I am currently undergoing a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (With Honors), expected to end at around November 2029. This means I have a very strong background in Mathematics, especially Calculus and Algebra. I have achieved NCEA Level 1, 2, 3 with Excellence, as well as achieving first place in Level 3 Mathematics with Calculus in Tauranga Boys' College. I am very familiar with school curricula and exam requirements. My lessons are suitable for NCEA / Cambridge, around ages 11-18. I also support students who may lack confidence, and I strongly support students who aim for higher grades or exam preparation.
