About Doris
I am a statistics researcher with a B.Sc in Mathematics/Statistics and a Master's degree in Statistics from the University of Calabar, currently pursuing doctoral studies in Mathematical Sciences (Computational Statistics) at Auckland University of Technology. My research interests include sampling methods, Bayesian inference, and computational statistics. I enjoy helping students understand statistical concepts and apply them effectively in research and data analysis.

My lessons aim to help students develop a clear understanding of statistical concepts and confidently apply them in their academic work. I explain topics in a structured, step-by-step manner, integrating theoretical explanations with practical data analysis using statistical software such as R or SPSS.
I work with undergraduate, master's, and PhD students, providing guidance in statistics courses, research methodology, and thesis or dissertation data analysis. Lessons may cover areas such as descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, sampling methods, and the interpretation of statistical outputs.
My objective is to simplify statistical ideas and equip students with the skills needed to analyse their data effectively and present their research findings clearly and accurately.
I also make mathematics fun for primary students, by breaking complex mathematical concepts to fun word for easy memorising.
